Staff Accountant
Looking for a hands-on accounting role where your work directly impacts real estate development projects? This is a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced Controller, gain broad exposure to real estate and construction accounting, and become a key contributor within a close-knit, entrepreneurial team.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

- Process accounts payable and track vendor invoices by project and cost category
- Maintain job cost records and reconcile project costs to the general ledger
- Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
- Manage accounts receivable, deposits, capital contributions, and HOA collections
- Support month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting activities
- Assist with lender reporting, construction draws, and tax preparation support
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Real estate, construction, or development accounting experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of job cost accounting and multi-entity accounting environments
- Proficiency with Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
