General Description:
The Steam Club Sponsors are responsible for recruiting 4th and 5th grade students interested in being in STEAM Club and helping them prepare for STEAM Day in May.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan meeting dates and times for the club
- Communicate with students and their parents regarding club expectations
- Explain the STEAM project expectations to students
- Facilitating students as they explore a topic of interest in the area of science, technology, engineering, art and/or math.
- Serve as a mentor and facilitator of learning.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate STEAM Day in May 2026
Work experience requirements:
Effective communication skills. Effective organizational skills.
Stipend: $40/hr (up to 32 hrs/person) in accordance to the NSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
