Lego Robotics Team Coach

General Description:
The Coach of the Lego Robotics team is responsible for recruiting 4th and 5th grade students interested in being on the Lego Robotics team and helping them prepare for the district-wide Lego Robotics competition.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning meeting dates and times for the club
- Communicate with students and their parents regarding club expectations
- Introduce the Lego Robotics challenges to the students
- Facilitating students as they try to navigate building a robot and programming it to complete challenges provided
- Serve as a mentor and facilitator of learning
- Prepare for and attend the December 14th district-wide competition
Work experience requirements:
Effective communication skills. Effective organizational skills.
Stipend: $2,510 in accordance to the NSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
