Software Support Specialist
Computer Information Systems, Inc. (CIS) is a leader in providing Public Safety Software to Federal, State, County and Municipal agencies nationwide.
As a Software Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting CIS’ software solutions. Your responsibilities include providing first‑level technical support for our applications, offering after‑hours support on a rotating basis with the team, and maintaining product documentation.
Responsibilities andDuties Include:
- Provide first level technical support for our applications
- Provide after hours support on a rotating basis with the team
- Maintain product documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Software troubleshooting skills in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Self‑starter with a desire to understand and implement solutions
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- 1+ year(s) experience in a technical support role
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL
- Experience with basic networking concepts
