- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for OEM, aftermarket, common, and private-label parts.
- Source new components at competitive pricing while meeting cost, quality, and business objectives.
- Manage part costs, identify savings opportunities, and lead supplier negotiations and long-term agreements.
- Build and manage supplier relationships through regular performance, cost, and service reviews.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and sales to support sourcing and supply chain initiatives.
- Identify new technologies, materials, and components aligned with future product needs.
- Oversee new item setup and master data processes.
- Lead and develop a team of sourcing specialists, analysts, and support personnel.
- 5-10 years of purchasing, strategic sourcing, buying, or supply chain experience within a complex manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading teams and delivering measurable cost and operational improvements.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufactured components.
- Demonstrated success using data and analytics to drive sourcing decisions.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment.
