RN- Nursery and Postpartum - Night Shift

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position:
  Registered Nurse – Nursery and Post-Partum
• Location:
  
  Highland Park, IL
• Full Time/Part Time:
  Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours:
  
  1900–0730, with weekend rotation
• On Call: per unit requirements, 12 hours per 6‑week schedule
• Required Travel:
  Float to Post‑Partum Evanston Hospital

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high‑quality patient experience

• Education:
  
  Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• License:
  Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience:
  
  1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year labor and delivery/post‑partum experience preferred
