School Nurse

Cross Country Education is looking for a passionate Certified School Nurse (CSN) to support vibrant school communities in Highland Park, IL. • Provide direct nursing care and manage complex medical procedures tailored to a diverse student population from Kindergarten through Transition age (up to 22) with varying levels of support needs.
• Manage daily school clinic operations, administer medications, and respond to medical emergencies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs), Emergency Action Plans, and health components of IEPs/504 plans.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams as the primary liaison between families, providers, and school staff; provide critical training to educators on student-specific medical protocols.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Certified School Nurse (CSN) endorsement
• Previous school-based experience or a strong pediatric background (Highly Preferred)

  Earn $49.60 - $56.20 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Registered Nurse, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
