Certified School Nurse (CSN) – Highland Park, IL 60035
Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified School Nurse (CSN) to support students in a school-based setting in Highland Park, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. August 17th 2026 - June 2nd 2027
8:00-3:30 pm Monday - Friday with 30 minute unpaid lunch - 35 hours weekly
K-12th grade case load as well as some adult Transition (Ages 18-22)
Compensation and Benefits- $45–58+/hr based on experience (W-2)

- Provide direct nursing services to students in accordance with district policies and state regulations
- Assess student health needs and develop individualized healthcare plans
- Administer medications and perform health-related procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate health records and required documentation
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate
- Monitor communicable diseases and promote health and wellness initiatives
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse Endorsement (CSN) required
- Previous school-based nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
