Position: Clinical Coordinator - LDRP - Days

Job Information

Hourly Pay Range: $43.69 - $67.72. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Requirements
  • License:
    Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL preferred.
  • Education:

    Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing required from an accredited nursing school. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business or other health related field preferred.
  • Certification: CPR Card BLS from the AHA/NRP.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an appropriate clinical setting required, proven leadership skills. Must have mother baby and labor and delivery experience.
  • Skills:

    Leadership, problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups specific to unit/specialty.
Responsibilities
  • Accountability for the outcomes of care for patients in the specific clinical care area.
  • Guides and directs a group of nurse‑led patient care teams in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, preparing them for discharge to home or other level of care.
  • Acts as role model for clinical excellence for all members of the clinical care delivery team.
  • Takes lead on clinical performance improvement management.
  • Works with patients and families to assure satisfaction with care and problem resolution as needed.
  • Communicates and collaborates with managing physicians, house staff, mid‑level practitioners, nursing and other health care team members to achieve desired outcomes for the plan of care and for discharge.
  • Determines staffing based on patient acuity and workflow.
  • Assumes direct patient care responsibility, as needed, based on acuity and changes in patient condition and workflow.
