The national collective labor agreement applicable to this role is CCNL for employees in the Logistics, Freight Transport and Shipping sector. The position is classified at level 2 or higher, based on the skills, abilities, and experience of the candidate.

Key job responsibilities:

• Monitor site performance against established KPIs and create process improvement plans.
• Implement workplace safety and health programs and organize training sessions.
• Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues plan appropriate resources in higher-risk areas.
• Conduct audits to verify site compliance with current safety and health legislation and implement solutions where risks are identified.

A day in the life:

You will work on-site at one of our sites, which can be a distribution center, a sorting center, or a delivery station. Being on-site allows you to keep an eye on the processes. In addition to helping us maintain safety and health compliance, you will identify potential problems and opportunities for improvement. This means working closely with people across the company to understand the risks they face and gather data to identify smarter, safer ways to work.

You will also organize training programs to help everyone follow new safety processes and reach new standards.

The Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team plays a fundamental role in ensuring the mental and physical well-being of our employees in the workplace. Our team collaborates with managers, associates, and local authorities at all our sites, ensuring compliance with Amazon policies and current regulations, and guaranteeing the safety of our work environments. The team offers a variety of opportunities, from Safety Technicians to Programme Managers.
