Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associate plays a meaningful role within CVS Health, focusing on customer service, cashier duties, inventory, and supporting various departments.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and addressing potential issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist in locating items.
• Accurately handle cashier duties, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies.
• Restock shelves, check vendor deliveries, update pricing, and complete inventory management tasks as directed by store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments (photo, beauty, etc.), ensuring they are stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including performing pharmacy shifts for career development opportunities.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs to support our purpose.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements:
  
  remaining upright on feet for sustained periods; lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently; visual acuity for computer and small detail tasks.

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Part-time, approximate 29 hours per week.

$15.40 - $22.40 per hour; actual salary dependent on factors such as experience, education, geography.
