Supervisory Capacity:
No Supervisory Responsibilities Essential Functions
- Update/maintain the Control Plan for the assigned workflows.
- Primary contact source with customer/supplier representatives, maintain positive communication and relationship, support and attend meetings, reviews and audits.
- Ensures that the quality system is maintained in accordance with the YF iOS standards.
- Facilitate problem solving teams and respond to customer discrepancy notices.
- Verify corrective actions and prepare problem solving customer correspondence related to quality concerns or issues.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits, and report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.
- Establish process controls, assist in training of new projects and buy-off on new/modified equipment and processes.
- Participate in work groups (e.g., FMEA, PSMC, etc.). Support the risk and failure analysis (PFMEA) reviews
- Performs root cause analysis of technical quality problems, with support of a cross functional team.
- Support quality/dimensional control systems (i.e., X&R charts, gage studies, Six Sigma, dimensional capability studies).
- Strong working knowledge of APQP tools (e.g., Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, SPC, etc.)
- Bachelor's Level Degree in Quality, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in Quality or Engineering related function.
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience working in the field of Quality, Engineering CI or similar (recent college graduate is considered acceptable).
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience in the automotive industry.
- Minimum 1 Year of Experience in Supplier Quality
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment, establishing partnerships both internally and externally.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess knowledge on the fundamentals of PPAP and APQP processes.
- Experience working directly with customers and suppliers, particularly automotive related is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the Quality function such as customer service, metrology, and quality analysis techniques (i.e., Design of experiments, Red X, PPAP, Control Plan, 8D Methodology Reporting, etc.).

- X-Rite Color Check Systems
