EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

• Powered Industrial Truck Permit (requires a passing score on the Powered Industrial Truck training tests administered by Magna Seating Detroit)

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of two (2) years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team oriented, communicates well with others, and able to interact with people at all levels and departments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various manufacturing/business information software.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Work performed in an office and/or manufacturing plant environment. Exposed to varying temperatures within the plant and on the shipping dock due to external weather conditions. Normal mobility to move around an office and/or manufacturing environment is required. Must be able to perform work on a computer. Continuously walks and stands. Frequently performs fine finger movements, grips/grasps, push/pulls, bends/stoops, lifts, and carries material/parts up to thirty (30) lbs.

Occasionally, may operate a forklift truck or tugger. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
