Security Guard

Full‑time opportunity at Villa At the Park. We are hiring a Security Guard to maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and employees through patrols, monitoring, and incident reporting.

• Secure premises by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; and permitting entry.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers, and notifying the Administrator and HR designee when violators are employees.
• Complete reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; and obtain signatures.
• Partner with and/or file reports with local law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Walk employees and visitors to cars when required.
• Handle light property maintenance to ensure safety, e.g., changing light bulbs and salting sidewalks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information, sharing only with the Administrator and HR designee.
• Quick learner capable of multi‑tasking.
• Flexibility and willingness to work all shifts in a 24/7 operation.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in security preferred.

• Must be able to walk, reach, bend, lift, sit extendedly, grasp, coordinate fine hand movements, push and pull, and distinguish smells and temperatures, with or without the aid of mechanical devices.
