Qualifications
- HS diploma and 3+ years of experience within a related field.
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical prints and schematics.
- Strong background in manufacturing, automotive, and automation.
- Experience with troubleshooting machines (preferred robots – FANUC).
- Knowledge in HMI software (Factory Talk or Ignition).
Insight Global is looking for an Automation Technician that can keep automated equipment running by quickly troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and controls issues. They perform preventative maintenance, document all repairs, and coordinate with other shifts while leading the 2nd‑shift tech team. Daily work includes improving machine uptime, supporting quality investigations, assisting with secondary equipment and new program launches, implementing error‑proofing, and training operators.
Flexibility for unexpected issues and occasional weekend work is required.
