Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Scope:
Responsible for performing general building and grounds maintenance, including service repairs such as plumbing, electrical and drywall and seasonal maintenance such as salting walkways, snow and ice removal.
- Perform procedures for maintaining agency facilities, to include routine building maintenance, maintenance of building exteriors, and grounds keeping including snow removal and grass cutting.
- Perform procedures for routine maintenance and repair of the agency fleet vehicles.
- Install and repair electrical wiring, control circuits and electrical devices.
- Install and repair piping and plumbing fixtures.
- Replace broken windows, repair doors, door locks and closets.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards assigned work, clients, and staff, and a willingness to work with others.
- Perform work in a professional manner that upholds Wayne Metro’s policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree OR a minimum of three years of experience in a related field OR a combination of education and experience that is similarly equivalent.
- Must have experience with plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
- Must have experience using power tools.
- Must have a builder’s license, HVAC or EPA Universal Certification.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform building maintenance and repairs including minor structural modifications.
- Working knowledge of basic internet applications and programs including Google technology and Microsoft Office Word and Excel. The ability to learn and utilize the necessary programs for this position.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
- Good interpersonal and professional skills including but not limited to professional appearance, tact, punctuality, and dependability.
- Ability to provide services for those persons facing economic, social, health, age, and educational barriers.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment (as deemed necessary).
- Perform work in a manner that upholds Wayne Metro policies and procedures.
Valid identification and reliable transportation.

Ability to travel to various sites.
Work HoursWork to be scheduled Monday through Friday with specific hours to be determined by program needs.
