Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:40 PM - 6:10 AM (Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week!)

Join a Growing Manufacturing TeamDirect Mail Solutions (DMS) is a leading full-service mail and fulfillment company located in Richmond, Virginia. We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our production team.
What You'll DoIn this role, you'll help maintain and repair production equipment to ensure smooth operations throughout our facility. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and work closely with machine operators to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Your responsibilities will include:- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
- Identifying equipment issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Assisting with machine setup, adjustments, and operational support.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
- Helping maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reliability.
We're seeking someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys problem‑solving and takes pride in keeping equipment running at its best. Whether your experience comes from manufacturing, automotive repair, maintenance work, or a related field, we'd love to hear from you.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of one year of mechanical experience.
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and stay self‑motivated.
- Commitment to safety and following established procedures.
- Industrial manufacturing equipment maintenance.
- Pneumatic, electrical, control, and conveyor systems.
- Reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Using voltage meters and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of 24V systems, AC/DC circuits, transformers, relays, and single‑or‑three‑phase motors.
- MIG or Stick welding and basic fabrication.
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting.
- Technical school, vocational training, or other relevant post‑secondary education.
