As a Housekeeper at Highland Palms, you play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your work ensures our community remains free of obstacles and odors, contributing to the health and well-being of everyone in our care.

• Maintain cleanliness in all public and common areas, including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms thoroughly.
• Keep handrails, walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, and towel dispensers spotless.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Sweep and mop floors regularly.
• Follow proper safety measures, including using caution signage and securing cleaning supplies.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, orderly manner.
• Report safety concerns or supply needs promptly.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily goals.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, kneeling, and bending.
