Merchandising Sales Associate – Tractor Supply Company – Highland, CA – $12.55 - $16.30 per hour.

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member travels to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, provides support for merchandise and fixture assembly, and maintains all signage. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Communicate proactively and regularly with the District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards.
• Perform store‑specific measurements.
• Complete store layout initiatives.
• Perform accurate cycle counts.
• Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.
• Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  • Greet the Customer.
  • Uncover Customer's Needs & Wants.
  • Recommend Product Solutions.
  • Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
  • Ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Assist as required with other duties assigned.

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; able to read, write and count accurately.

• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
• Self‑directed with ability to complete assignments with little or no assistance.

• Work primarily indoors with moderate noise.
• Shifts vary but are a minimum of 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
• Travel between store locations in own vehicle; may involve long periods.
• Promote a safe and productive environment and adhere to company safety training.
• Indoor floors and outdoor lots are typically hard surfaces; lighting and temperature adequate.

• Ability to travel as required to support district needs.
• Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment like pallet jack.
• Ability to lift or reach merchandise overhead; stand, kneel, twist, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Operate store equipment such as computer, cash register, dolly, handtruck, forklift, baler (except forklift for under 18).
• Read, write, and count accurately; use strong written and verbal communication.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Successfully complete all required training.
• Non‑sedentary: standing, walking, kneeling, bending, reaching, moving merchandise up to 50 pounds.
