** Security Officer - Parking Deck Patrol Driver

** Highland, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist guests and store teams with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, entrances, and/or the parking perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, observe shopper and employee activity for unusual behavior, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd control, disputes, and/or medical situations until additional help arrives.

+ Document activities and incidents accurately in written reports and/or electronic logs, and participate in required briefings and post orders.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
