Manufacturing Engineer, Test Engineer
Build and test units and circuits required with assistance, document test and related data, and assist in providing technical support as assigned.
Responsibilities- Build test circuits or prototypes as specified by and assisted by the project engineer(s).
- Develop test procedures and reports based on design specifications and/or other functional defining documentation.
- Conduct design verification and functional tests on various products and record data utilizing electronic documentation formats.
- Utilize problem tracker system to identify functional or test problems found.
- Assist in providing information for instruction manuals.
- Assist in training production technicians and others.
- Troubleshoot down to component level with assistance as needed.
- Provide assistance to Quality Engineering for failure analysis.
- Provide customer technical assistance on testing and/or unit setup.
- Assist in the evaluation of electronic components.
- Build test equipment/setups needed with assistance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in providing estimates for testing time for project schedules.
- Inform management and project engineer of work progress.
- Ensure equipment used for testing remains calibrated.
- Assist in developing automated testing programs and setups.
- Perform minor circuit modifications to meet specifications with assistance.
- Work directly with project engineer(s), with minimum supervision required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to occasionally lift/move 25 to 50 lb. weight materials.
- Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation.
- Travel as required to provide on-site technical assistance, testing, etc., for a specific product or to perform testing at an external lab facility.

CompensationWe anticipate filling the Lab Technician position with an expected compensation range of $25 – $27/hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. Starting pay and job title are based on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
