Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Commercial Painter to perform paint work for custom manufactured trailers and displays. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the automotive and/or commercial paint industries with experience in mixing and spraying Axalta paint materials. The candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to follow instructions to ensure high quality workmanship in all tasks.
This work environment is dynamic and versatile in nature, where employees are expected to wear multiple hats and handle a variety of tasks. This role requires a high level of adaptability, as daily tasks and priorities may shift based on the evolving needs of the day. The ability to pivot and manage changing responsibilities is essential to success in this position.

- Prepare surfaces for painting – sand, mask, wash.
- Disassemble vehicles and reassemble them as needed for painting.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Mix and spray Axalta paint products.
- Perform all body work as needed.
- Vinyl graphics removal and installation.
- Must comply with all safety rules and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience in a paint environment.
- Knowledgeable in automotive body work.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting and commercial environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Use of air and electric hand tools.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
- Must be safety conscious with good housekeeping skills.
- Must be a problem solver.
- Must demonstrate a consistent work history, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Axalta paint products, spraying and mixing paints.
- Spraying paint using Pressure Pots/Gravity Guns.
- Vinyl trim application.
- Welding Mig/Tig.
- Spraying bedliner products, Scorpion/Linex type materials.
- Physical ability to stand up to 8+ hours per day.
- Physically able to climb in and out of trailers, scaffolding and ladders.
- Must have the ability to hear and respond to auditory signals, distinguish tones and pitches in equipment, and use hearing protection during specific tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Vision: close and/or color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Some travel may be required for on‑site assistance/repair.
