Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift at our Highland, IL facility. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00pm – 11:00pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory  rate for this position is $27.92 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour shift differential.

• Install equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
• Operate a variety of lifts, etc.
• Maintain and follow all safety requirements.
• Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment; maintain/clean work areas.

• A minimum of one (1) year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL will be considered; active‑duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Experience in metal fabrication.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment.
• Ability to modify or program PLC’s and HMI’s a plus.
