As a Wound Nurse, you will work closely with residents, families, and the clinical team to provide exceptional wound care and support healing while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

• Assess complex wounds upon admission and throughout treatment

• Clean and dress wounds to promote healing and prevent infection

• Develop and implement wound treatment plans

• Monitor wound healing progress and communicate changes with the care team

• Educate residents and caregivers on wound care and prevention techniques

• Complete accurate documentation for patient records and insurance purposes

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care

• Support residents with compassion, dignity, and respect

• Current Illinois LPN or RN license required

• Passion for wound care and long-term care nursing

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented caregiver

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Commitment to providing genuine hometown care

• Enthusiastic about helping others and supporting resident recovery
