Sexual Assault Victim Advocate

Full-Time | Hourly, Non-Exempt | $18.50+/hour | 40 hours/week

Fair Haven RCC is seeking a Sexual Assault Victim Advocate to provide compassionate, trauma-informed advocacy, crisis intervention, and support to survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking.

• Provide primary and backup medical advocacy through an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Respond to survivors at hospitals, law enforcement agencies, and other designated locations throughout Lake, Porter, and LaPorte Counties

• Support and manage Fair Haven’s 24/7 crisis line
  .
• Conduct individualized needs assessments and connect survivors with appropriate community resources.
• Maintain confidential and accurate client records and program data.
• Collaborate with community partners and support daily advocacy program operations.
• Complete administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

• One year of experience in crisis intervention, victim advocacy, or office support preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, victim advocacy, case management, and community resources.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records.
• Successful completion of required background investigation and fingerprinting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle required.

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Monday–Friday, in office
• On‑call rotation; weekends and holidays as needed
• Starting at $18.50/hour
