Oil and Gas Accountant

My client is seeking a well-rounded Accountant to play a key role across the company's oil and gas accounting operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work across JIBs, revenue, royalties, cash management, investor accounting, and financial reporting while helping ensure the financial health and accuracy of the business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process JIBs, oil & gas revenue, royalty payments, and related reporting
• Perform bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations
• Support cash management, forecasting, and payment processing
• Assist with payroll accounting and 1099 reporting
• Track investor contributions, distributions, and equity balances
• Prepare LOS and schedules supporting quarterly financial reporting
• Research discrepancies and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

About You

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Understand oil & gas accounting, particularly JIBs, revenue, royalties, or mineral interests
• Experience with oil & gas accounting systems or industry-specific software - Bolo highly preferred
• Strong Excel capabilities with formulas, large datasets, and reconciliations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
