Redevelopment Construction Analyst

UDR, Inc. is now hiring a Redevelopment Construction Analyst to join our team at our corporate office in Highlands Ranch.

Supports the Redevelopment team in researching, managing, and executing redevelopment opportunities for existing or newly acquired assets.

Reports to Director or Senior Director – Redevelopment.

• Analyze property financial statements and rent rolls; assist with comp selection and submarket rent analysis; conduct research on market data that impacts project value.
• Create and improve financial models for all necessary analysis.
• Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly department reports, including pipeline/deal tracking reports.
• Assist project managers in the preparation/management of project budgets and schedules.
• Maintain project trackers for Marketing and Operations departments.
• Maintain renovation forecasts/reforecasts in consultation with supervisor, department head, and Operations.
• Maintain and provide updated spend curve estimates for all ongoing projects.
• Assist in establishing performance tracking models for all ongoing redevelopments.
• Prepare financial modeling for redevelopment opportunities to newly acquired or existing assets.
• Maintain communication with project managers to understand status and flag potential impacts to schedule and budget; assist with bid evaluations and contractor selection.
• Assist with underwriting of special projects, including ESG initiatives and EV charging installations; support special project managers with budgeting, scheduling, and general project management.
• Perform analysis of past Cap Ex and ROI projects to refine underwriting and benchmarking.
• Provide support to project managers on‑site with coordination, meetings, and project close‑out when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, construction management, or business major in a related field; or equivalent education and experience.
• Demonstrated analytics experience through education or work.
• Real estate and/or multi‑family experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of architectural design and construction.

$68,756.00/yr. – $76,396.00/yr., depends on experience.

Eligible for 10% annual bonus potential, based on personal and company performance.
