Software Engineer - Early Career

Overview

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. This role will support the entire flight software development lifecycle (design, integration, test) for the Payload Flight Software domains. Development occurs in a dynamic, agile environment with guidance from more experienced team members.

• Support the development of Specifications and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Create test scenarios for code changes to test new capability or verify defect fixes.
• Participate in system testing activities with other organizations.
• Collaborate in a team environment with peers, SSPL FSW, Smart Sat team members, and occasional customer interactions.

• Computer Science Engineering or related degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience/knowledge in software development.

• Requires U.S. citizenship due to program access.
• Security Clearance Statement:
  This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
• Clearance Level: Top Secret.

  Various schedules available; standard 40 hours over five days, with some condensed options.
