Description:

Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a motivated, positive, and energetic Payload Program Asc. Manager to be the Deputy IPT lead of the Wildfire program. The Payload Program Asc. Manager, as a member of the IGNITE and WILDFIRE management teams, will be responsible for ensuring program needs and engineering-recommended practices are implemented and coordinated consistent with program hardware delivery dates. The Payload Program Asc.

Manager will oversee WILDFIRE antenna/RF subsystem and component design activities, including development of component level and system-level requirements, drawing release, production, test, verification, and integration activities. This position emphasizes a 'systems thinking' mindset throughout the product lifecycle of RF subsystems and components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership experience with engineering teams or technical projects.

• Ability to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance in a program environment.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholders.

• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.

• US Citizen. Ability to obtain & maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired

Skills:

• Experience with the Wildfire program or similar aerospace programs.

• Familiarity with RF, antenna, or microwave subsystem/component design, development, integration, or test.

• Understanding of spacecraft flight hardware, including radome, thermal, vibration, shock, and environmental testing.

• Experience with supplier oversight and coordination in a technical program environment.

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics and program reporting.

• Experience in fast-paced, agile program environments.

• Strong systems thinking and ability to consider technical, cost, and schedule trade-offs across a program lifecycle.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
