Program Planner – Level 2
Location:
Highlands Ranch, CO
- Partner with Program, Capture & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions.
- Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules that accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy.
- Provide time‑phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develop recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.
- Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused.
- Prepare/coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response.
- Interface with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator.
- Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.
- Devise modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments.
- Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.
- 1–2 years of planning/scheduling experience.
- Experience with a planning tool such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel or comparable tools.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts (critical‑path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, program start‑up activities).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Understanding of EVM, critical‑path analysis, end‑to‑end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program, and Program Performance Management Process.
- Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule.
- Prior team‑lead experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
- Strong sense of follow‑up and closure with attention to detail.
- Self‑starter able to operate with minimal guidance.
- Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposal activities.
- Strong influencing and relationship‑management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve challenges in dynamic situations.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines.
