Key Responsibilities- Facilitate cross‑functional workshops with support teams (operations, supply chain, quality, etc.) to document current‑state and future‑state processes (VSM/PFD)
- Regularly engage with internal stakeholders to understand their analysis needs
- Build, validate, and maintain discrete event simulation (DES) models of manufacturing processes and supply chain flows
- Deploy and support use of modeling and simulation to the facility level
- Conduct “what if” scenarios, and identify capacity constraints and bottlenecks
- Present findings, recommendations, and trade‑offs to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Work closely with production leadership to provide actionable insights
- Expect to travel to internal and external production facilities / suppliers up to 25%

- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or operations modeling
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including process mapping
- US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance; must pass drug and background checks

Desired Skills- Master’s Degree
- Experience developing process flow diagrams and analyzing production systems
- Hands‑on experience with discrete event simulation tools (e.g., Simio, Process Simulator, Arena, Flex Sim)
- Experience working across multiple facilities or with external suppliers
- Familiarity with production planning, supply chain modeling, or capacity analysis
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and optimization techniques
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Ability to facilitate structured discussions and extract process knowledge from diverse teams
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Effective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership, and stakeholders
- Exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, stakeholders, and executives
