Overview
Lockheed Martin Space is designing, developing, and delivering a next-gen wideband MILSATCOM system comprised of integrated space and ground segments that will provide enhanced communications capacity, flexibility and resiliency. This position will be a key member of the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in support of the final design, development, production, integration, test, and delivery of this critical capability focused on the requirements development, decomposition, and verification.

Location:
Multiple locations available.
- Ensure completeness of converting mission requirements into a system solution.
- Definitize the system architecture and subsequent design.
- Develop/define interfaces between critical elements.
- Perform the necessary analysis to accomplish mission requirement conversion and architecture definitization.
- 5 years of Systems Engineering experience.
- Requirements allocation, flow-down, verification, and/or VCRM development experience.
- Experience developing and/or verifying Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Experience working on either Satellite or Ground Segment programs.
- Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of Requirements and Verification experience.
- Experience in executing design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
- Experience with Requirements Allocation Documentation.
- System Integration experience.
- Familiarity with DOORS & JAMA (CAMEO).
- Background in designing, or sustaining communication subsystems (RF, optical, digital) for space missions.
- Active or current DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
