What does this role look like?- Lead preparation for and integration of space segment with ground segment, including support to ground integration with test environments, labs and government equipment
- Perform cross‑program coordination during development of intersegment and subsystem‑level requirement/verification baselines
- Perform system analysis and interface definition
- Support ICD, parameter, and database definition, TT&C and operator training
- Develop and deliver System Test Plans and Test Procedures
- Conduct System Test events to verify interface, functional and performance requirements between internal and external interfaces, lead TER, TRR
- Attend Customer‑led working groups, provide technical data and responses, and resolve assigned actions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 10+ years of Systems Engineering Experience
- Systems Integration and Test Engineering process knowledge and experiences
- Exposure to RF or digital communications Payload Systems engineering
- Experience with systems integration and engineering lifecycle on Space programs
- Experience leading and coordinating teams across multiple engineering disciplines (i.e., mechanical, electrical, RF, software, etc.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance; US Citizenship is required
- 12+ Years of Systems Engineering Experience
- Experience with integration of space and ground segments
- Experience with RF or digital communications Payload Systems engineering
- Experience or understanding of operational ground system command and control
- Experience with System Test conduct, including development labs, and integration test definition
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to an audience with varied technical backgrounds
- Experience with customer facing reviews: SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate large integration efforts across teams and organizations
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level: TS/SCI.
Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range varies by location: $151,200–$266,570 for non‑major metropolitan areas or $173,900–$301,415 for major metropolitan areas. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
