Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant STEM degree from an Accredited University
- Space communication and sensing processor design, development, and architecture experience
- Experience in the development, architecture, and testing of Digital Electronics technologies and algorithms
- Experience in establishing requirements for Space processing systems
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

- Designs, develops and oversees system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities.
- Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.
- Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system.
- Develops systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition.
- Supports internal and external design reviews.
- Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies.
- Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
- Generally has 8+ years of related experience and may have a post‑secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated track record of leadership of digital space processing systems engineering and architectures.
- Experience with simulation, modeling, and integration of networking or space payload processing algorithms.
- Master of Science and/or PhD degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with emphasis on Digital technologies.
- Experience in designing space payloads.
- Ability to mentor, guide, and technically lead space processing engineers and researchers.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Work location:
Onsite Full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
