Position

Finance and Business Operations Manager – Orion Program, Commercial Civil Space Line of Business.

Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle is NASA’s first spacecraft designed for long‑duration, human‑rated deep space exploration, transporting humans beyond low Earth orbit to asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars.

• Oversee financial and business operations and deliverables for the Orion program.
• Coordinate with functional areas to support business operations and program execution.
• Lead a finance team, providing leadership and serving as a financial advisor to the broader program.
• Provide financial planning, analysis, funding, and strategy support for both development and production contracts.
• Engage with external and internal stakeholders, including NASA representatives, and present to executive leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and advocate for change.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Program finance or Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
• Leadership or team‑lead experience.

• Ability to present effectively to senior leadership and customers.
• Cross‑functional influence and relationship‑building focus.
• Experience supporting or developing funding profiles and EVM plans.
• Program‑level finance experience – proposal and execution.
• Advanced working knowledge of SAP.
• Ability to manage various financial disciplines.
