Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Remote: This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Performs laboratory testing of patient specimens in one or more sections of the laboratory.
Responsibilities- Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens. Interprets, documents and reports test results.
- Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
- Performs projects as assigned as well as serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
- Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) or as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or categorical ASCP certification in a laboratory specialty/sub‑specialty as applicable to job responsibilities.

- Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
