What does this role look like? In this role, you'll be a Subcontract Manager, mainly being responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for the Digital Processor hardware portfolios as well as other hardware portfolios that may benefit from this position.

You will be accountable for managing subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle - starting from proposal phases, through execution, full delivery of the work product, and into closeout for multiple programs and Lockheed Martin line of businesses. In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:
You will play a critical part in developing and executing contractual relationships with our supplier base as well as internal Lockheed Martin Stakeholders. Every day will be unique with being the face of the Subcontract Management Team as the team will look to you to help resolve complex supplier performance issues and overall processor hardware strategy. As a Subcontract Manager in the Space Supply Chain Enterprise Strategic Sourcing (ESS) organization, you'll be responsible for driving improved performance across your assigned portfolio through strategic planning, lean thinking, and continuous improvement.

Candidates must comply to purchasing policies, procedures, and program requirements. You are responsible for subcontract lifecycle activities on multiple programs, with specific support to the Space ESS organization. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work:
Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.

Basic Qualifications:

To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education,

• 8+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e... Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management),

• Previous experience with procurement processes and regulations under DoD (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and or ITAR)

• Knowledge of SAP/P2P Purchasing System, PO Folders, procedures,

• Experience with management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunity,

• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance , to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Skills:

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Masters Degree.

• Demonstrated subcontract experience to include development of RFP's, complex statements of Work, proposal evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria

• Previous experience supporting LM Space Payload product portfolios

• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
