Job Store Staffing is seeking a Custom Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional with experience using a miter saw and other power tools to measure, cut, and assemble high-quality, custom window screen products. You’ll work with precision‑built components tailored to specific designs and customer requirements in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
The Custom Assembly Technician position is with a family‑owned company that has proudly served customers for over 40 years, specializing in custom window screens, screen doors, and screen systems from leading manufacturers. We’re looking for someone detail‑oriented, safety‑minded, and motivated to grow long‑term with the team. The Custom Assembly Technician role is a temporary to hire opportunity for the right candidate.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay: $23–$25/hour
- Using a miter saw to accurately measure and cut materials for custom window screen assemblies
- Picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling custom boxes for shipments
- Wrapping and packaging stock and custom products
- Following Fed Ex/UPS shipping guidelines to ensure safe, accurate deliveries
- Using hand and power tools to prep products for shipping
- Assisting with additional warehouse or shipping tasks as needed
- Hands‑on experience using a miter saw
- Previous assembly, shipping, or warehouse experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail, especially with custom measurements and cuts
- Comfortable using hand and power tools safely
- Sit‑down forklift experience is a plus (not required)
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs. and stand for extended periods
