Responsibilities
The House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. The position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff. The Nurse Supervisor oversees the nursing staff, patients, and patient care during their shift, works closely with the Intake and Admissions Department regarding admissions, discharges, and transfers, and may also function as a unit/floor nurse in accordance with staffing protocol needs.

Shift
Hours:
Friday - Sunday (Nights 7pm - 7:30am)
Shift Differentials: Weekdays (3pm - 11pm): $4.00, weekdays (11pm - 7am): $4.00; weekends (7am - 3pm): $4.00, weekends (3pm - 11pm): $6.00, weekends (11pm - 7am): $7.00.
Retention Bonus: This position is eligible for our retention bonus program (eligible after completion of sign‑on bonus); current retention bonus for RNs is $10,000.
QualificationsRequirements:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management;
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility preferred.
Licensure: Current license to practice nursing in Colorado (or eligible to receive or renew).
Additional Requirements: CPR certification within 30 days of employment and successful completion of training in Handle with Care. Certification training may be obtained during new hire orientation.
