Overview
Job Title: Store Lead
Pay: $16.50-$16.75/hour + tips
Location: Highland's Ranch, CO
Reports To: General Manager and/or Store Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Supervise the staff and run the shifts when the Store Manager and/or General Manager is not on duty; direct other employees through their daily routines and interact with customers to make sure that they have a satisfactory experience.
Responsibilities- Supervise staff and ensure duties are performed with customer satisfaction in mind.
- Open and close the store as necessary.
- Make mid-day bank deposit runs.
- Hire and fire staff as necessary, often under the direction of the store manager and/or general manager.
- Create and hand over crew schedules and ensure that they are followed properly.
- Provide training to new crew members for food preparation and serving duties as necessary.
- Provide workers with information on food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene and company policies, procedures, standards, and processes.
- Inspect food supplies, dishware and flatware and food preparation equipment to ensure quality and standards.
- Assist with inventory control of food, equipment, and supplies and report shortages or inconsistencies to the designated staff.
- Monitor operational issues such as theft and wastage and establish protocols to minimize them.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained regularly and arrange for repairs in a timely manner.
- Make reports of equipment wear and tear and sanction purchase of new equipment.
- Ensure that food portions and courses are appropriate before they are served to customers.
- Assist in processing payments through the cash register, credit card terminals, and loyalty and gift card transactions.

Valid Driver’s License - must meet insurance underwriting requirements.

Ability to supervise and train newly hired staff effectively.
