Job Description
Join our team as an Emergency Response Officer (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Compensation$20.00–23.00 per hour, based on experience.
Pay ScheduleBi‑Weekly
Available ShiftsDay Shift: 6am – 6pm;
Night Shift: 6pm – 6am

- Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions
- Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security
- Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service
- Enforce all traffic and parking regulations
- Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity
- Determine when to utilize support from local police, fire, and EMS; effectively during emergencies
- Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Prior experience in Emergency Medical Services or security is preferred
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to all parties in the community at all times
- A culture of positivity, proactiveness, vigilance and detail‑oriented approach with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness
- Current Emergency Medical Responder certification or the ability to acquire the certification within 30 days of hire; on‑job training is available through the Erickson Senior Living EMR Academy. Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification through Erickson Senior Living EMR Academy
