Operates and maintains physical facilities, equipment, and plumbing systems as assigned. Performs maintenance, installation, and servicing for all plumbing, medical gas systems, and equipment.

Responsibilities- Maintains plumbing systems, piping systems, and equipment operating systems to suit the needs of a patient care service or of the facility.
- Reviews construction drawings and works with contractors to ensure systems are installed to code. Makes regular tours of construction areas and reports any issues with installations.
- Diagnoses and remedies issues in existing plumbing and piping systems and equipment. Recommends and implements improvements to those systems and/or equipment to correct identified problems.
- Performs general maintenance including installation of appropriate equipment and devices to ensure proper operation of the equipment and devices.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Journeyman Plumbers License.
- 3 years of direct experience.
