The Space Software Product Line (SSPL) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team. This role will interface with the Systems Organization, as well as provide support to various Software development teams with a focus on requirements, design, and verification. SSPL supports over 30 programs across all 5 LM Space Lines of Business, advancing software products through Software Factory standards and flexible software architectures.

- Interface with the Systems Organization and provide support to Software development teams with a focus on requirements, design, and verification.
- Contribute to advancing software products through Software Factory standards and flexible software architectures.
- Support over 30 programs across all 5 LM Space Lines of Business and help build software for customer missions in a smarter, more efficient way.
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
- Ability to lead discussions and determine resolutions to technical problems
- Ability to present technical information to the government, customer, and engineering/program management
- Ability to derive and track requirements from initial program standup through verification and launch
- Ability to create detailed software designs and communicate those designs to a technical team effectively.
- 3 years working in a Software Systems role

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. - Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week to condensed schedules with additional time away from the office. These schedules are in addition to Paid Time off benefits. - Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
- Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For other locations, salary varies by final work location. This is a general guideline and offers consider factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions. - Benefits offered:
