The Space Software Product Line (SSPL) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team. This experienced software role will work within a software development team to design, implement, unit test, and verify software functionality. SSPL supports over 30 programs in various stages across all 5 LM Space Lines of Business, advancing software products through Software Factory standards and flexible software architectures.
We are at the forefront of building software that supports customer missions in a smarter, more efficient way.
- Experience with Xilinx FPGAs
- Experience with RTOS (real time operating systems) and associated development tool chains
- Experience with Modern Agile Software Development Processes and tools (e.g. git, Jira, Confluence, Git Lab)
- Experience with hardware/software integration
- Experience with Rust
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g. python)
- Continuous Integration and Deployment Tools:
Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker - Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
- Preference given to candidates living within close proximity to a LM facility
