We are currently seeking a Construction
Project Manager Assistant to add to our Goyette Mechanical Construction Division. Specifically, we are looking for local candidates with a construction background and/or experience in construction management or mechanical project management. This is a full-time, non-union salaried position with benefits.
Job duties are in the Sidney, Ohio area.

• Construction b ackground and/or experience in Construction Management or mechanical project management.
• Sound organizational skills with strong data and document management abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on deadlines; excellent time management skills are necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention-to-detail and accuracy are highly critical in this role.
• Must be able to foster and support a teamwork environment, placing a high emphasis on excellent customer service.
• Dependable, adaptable, and proactive with good interpersonal skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Previous experience in HVAC/R.
• Previous experience as a construction assistant PM or construction Project Engineer.
• Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field/experience.
• Pro Core, Smart Sheets and/or Google Sheets proficiency.

• Work closely with a construction project manager(s) as part of a cohesive team
• Assist with construction materials ordering, scheduling, organization, and communication with construction partners.
• Process submittals and maintain a submittal log.
• Purchase misc. materials and equipment needed for projects including requesting quotes, writing purchase orders, maintaining a purchase order log, and approving invoices.
• Track and follow-up on delivery dates for major equipment and material purchase orders.
• Maintain log of extra work performed by subcontractors.
• Ensure purchase order, submittal, and other construction documentation is properly organized and maintained for record.
• Position may at times maintain a presence at a jobsite trailer, including administrative duties, ordering/organizing jobsite trailer supplies and assisting visitors.
• Assist the project managers, superintendents, foreman, commissioning team, safety technicians, and other partners with their tasks, as needed.

• Principally field work on Construction job sites in jobsite trailer and on Construction site.
• Occasional company-funded travel to Greater Columbus, Ohio, including for initial training.
• Job requires occasional work outside to include in occasional inclement weather.
• Light duty:
  Some standing, light lifting, and movement on foot throughout work site.
