Data Center Operations Technician

Overview

The position involves maintaining the hardware infrastructure of the latest cloud computing server technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly and accurately resolve issues with server and network hardware through root cause analysis, with a solid understanding of computers, servers, network devices, and command line diagnostics.

• Maintain and troubleshoot data center hardware and related infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve issues with servers, network devices, and associated components.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.

• Technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical information to a variety of individuals.
• Strong situational awareness and the capability to contribute to robust inter- and intra-team development.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving ability.

Entry Level

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, OH.
• Pay range: $22.63/hr.
• Schedule:
  
  12-hour shifts on 3 Days/4 Days alternating weeks;
  Front-Half Days (Sunday–Tuesday or Wednesday) or Back-Half Days (Wednesday/Thursday–Saturday); note scheduling modifications may occur based on business needs.
• Workplace Type:
  Onsite in Hilliard, OH.
