Water / Wastewater Treatment Project Manager / Senior Process Engineer – Water Technologies Area, Kleinfelder
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead projects in our Industrial & Commercial Water and Wastewater Division. The role serves as project manager, design/treatment consultant, and client contact for projects that include industrial water and drinking water treatment systems, wastewater treatment, water reuse, system integration, permitting, and client‑specific projects.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Strong experience with the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Lead technical efforts for planning, studies, budgeting, technical management, coordination of multi‑discipline engineering efforts, quality assurance, subcontract management and contract administration.
- Supervise staff and subcontractors to deliver technical projects and mentor team members.
- Effectively communicate water and wastewater design concepts to clients, participate in project scoping activities and proposal presentations, and coordinate with clients to maintain a positive relationship.
- Establish strong, productive internal collaborative relationships with senior management.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of design and construction experience of water/wastewater treatment projects.
- B.S. in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering license with the ability to obtain an Ohio license within 6 months of start date.
- In‑depth knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and experience coordinating the various engineering disciplines involved in the design of new or upgraded treatment facilities.
- Strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, computer, and technical writing skills.
- Strong team‑building and communication skills.
- Solid written and verbal fluency in English.
- Competitive salary range: $103,006 – $187,959 per year.
