The estimated base salary range for this role is “$105,000 to $132,000” per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.

What will you do?
- Lead and execute major capital projects, ensuring delivery to agreed cost, schedule, safety, and performance objectives.
- Specify production equipment and work directly with vendors to design, procure, install, and commission assets for new production lines in existing facilities or new facilities.
- Investigate process and equipment issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend and implement corrective actions to improve performance and reliability.
- Apply sound mechanical engineering and precision maintenance principles to all work performed, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and lifecycle performance.
- Actively participate as a key member of cross‑functional project teams, supporting capital projects from concept development through asset installation and start‑up.
- Participate in Agile and Lean events to drive rapid and sustainable process improvements.
- Mentor, train, and develop engineers and maintenance personnel on technical standards, engineering best practices, and precision maintenance principles.
- Support condition of assets, reliability initiatives, and other corporate or plant‑level programs.
- Work closely with plant engineering, maintenance, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure customer requirements and operational expectations are met.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to less‑experienced engineers at both corporate (AWI) and plant levels.
Travel

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in project planning and execution within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands‑on experience supporting equipment installation, construction, and start‑up activities in an operating manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across organizational functions and business units.
- Experience working with SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience developing and managing project cost estimates, including capital budgeting and cost control.
