Patient Services Representative

Location:

Hilliard & Westerville, OH (must be flexible to work at both sites)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, Morning Shift

Pay Rate: $18/hr

About the Opportunity

We are excited to support our esteemed client-one of the nation's largest and most respected providers of critical illness recovery hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, and outpatient rehabilitation services-in their search for a dedicated Patient Services Representative. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient‑facing environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service during pivotal moments in a patient's care journey.

As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for each patient's experience by providing warmth, clarity, and professionalism from the moment they walk through the door.

Key Responsibilities

+ Warmly greet every patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive, welcoming attitude.

+ Guide new patients through required paperwork and serve as a knowledgeable resource for questions.

+ Complete patient registration with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Perform insurance verifications and obtain necessary authorizations.

+ Collect co‑pays and ensure proper documentation is recorded.

+ Deliver excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.

+ Support front‑office operations by managing a high‑volume workload efficiently.

+ Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

Qualifications

+ Minimum 1+ year of experience in a medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service representative role.

+ Previous healthcare experience is not required; training will be provided. (Great foot in the door opportunity within an established healthcare system.)

+ Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.

+ Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload in a fast‑paced environment.

+ Strong computer proficiency and comfort navigating multiple systems.

+ Reliable, professional, and committed to supporting patient care excellence.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
