Optalis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking an Activities Director for our Mill Run Health & Rehabilitation Center
. The Activities Director is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Activities Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility to assure that our patients/residents receive activities for their emotional, social, physical and therapeutic needs.

• Coordinate activities programs that meet the physical, mental and social needs of our residents
• Complete assessments
• Offer engaging activity programs for our residents and assist them during participation
• Develop a calendar of Activity Events

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Activities Director Certificate (ADC)
• Completion of State Required Training
• Excellent communication skills
